A few quick questions about pie for some informal research I am doing:
If you could share a slice of pie with anyone living or dead, who would it be? What is your favorite kind of pie? What is the best pie holiday? What region of the country do you live in?What kind of homemade pie would you serve to company?

And does anyone know the origin of beignets and how to make them?
