re: Chinese doughnuts - i disagree

i think she meant those "yu teow" (long, stick like fried bread) or "kai ko shaw" (sweet open smiling mouth). (my han yu pin yin, chinese spelling is bad.) those chinese snacks are considered as Chinese doughnuts in the west. unfortunately, i have no idea how they are made in the restaurants you find in america. the tradtitional method can be found here on TKL i believe...
