re: Fig Tree

Sounds like a fig tree to me, I have one that used to die down in the winter and start all new in the spring, the last few years it hasn't died down, it is covered with figs now, you have to wait until they turn yellow and get soft, before they taste good. they will have another crop of figs in Sept.
