Re: Jo what??

Misc.
My thought was to get a collection of nice, cold recipes for summer. If we just list them as Favorite Summer Recipes, we'll know there's another refreshing dish we can add to our cookbook files. I can only eat so much ice cream here in the desert heat... and, by the 4th of July, lots of people will appreciate something cold to serve up, other than watermelon. After the first big tub of macaroni salad, I'd kind of want a variation on it. I'm going to play with that one for a while, maybe come up with a fruited version. Maybe a shrimp primavera mac salad. Just to put some variety in things, and make summer meals special and easier. You know?

I'm also planning to pull a fast one on DH. He'll ask what the odd (something he's not used to) dishes are in the fridge, and I'll tell him. Then the next morning he'll want breakfast, and I'll say, "oatmealsicles, honey!"
hehehehe
