If you are using a food processor with the steel blade attachment, the time is probably no longer than 2 to 3 minutes. The test is that the dough starts to form balls . Once that happens stop immediately, and take the dough out and kneed briefly to form a ball. Any longer in the food processor the dough will toughen and the bread will not be acceptable.

Beyond that if you make a lot of bread consider a dough mixer
