OLD FASHIONED SUGAR CREAM PIE
1 cup white granulated sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 pint cream or half & half
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon or nutmeg
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Mix as listed in bowl and pour in pie shell.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce to 325 degrees F and continue baking for 40 to 45 minutes more, or until filling is set. (After the first 20 minutes of baking, carefully stir, if you want to, but don't puncture the crust.)
