Re: Looking: Pecan Pie Squares

Misc.

Hi..I just found out that I need to look on the t ried and true board, which I still need to find, but the filling for the Pecan Pie Squares via Yolanda's recipeis:
Filling: 1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
3 tbl butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Mix all ingredients except pecans in lg bowl 'til well blended. Stir in pecans.
Pour over baked layer. Spread evenly. I going to try to find tried and true board now. Well, just checked out Yolanda's answer to me... curst is baked for about 15-20 min. then filling is poured on top and baked for about 25 min. If you need recipe for crust, let me know.
