Hi Violet,

Here is a variation in the recipe:

Tip: For a more cake-like cookie, substitute 1 1/3cups (one-half 27-ounce jar) None Such Ready-to-Use Mincemeat (Regular or Brandy & Rum) for condensed mincemeat.

And here's a recipe that uses a whole jar of mincemeat:
