Re: Momma's Sweet Potato Biscuits

Misc.

I just have to say this...I really really want to try this recipe!! I am just plain addicted to those luscious sweet potatoes...thanks to my ma-in-law, who mashes them with plenty of butter and cinnamon...mmmmm. And she is from South Africa!! A truly universal vegetable huh?

David - your writings are a pleasure to read...I could lose myself in your words very easily..as a boring old English person you actually conjure up pictures in my head..it's great!

You have just got to read a book called Soul Food by the Three Degrees' singer Sheila Ferguson. She writes as she speaks and the book is absolutely wonderful. It has recipes for Chitlins, Ham and Red Eye Gravy, Collard Greens..you name it it's got it. No wish to sell the book to you, just want others to love it as much as i do.

Take care and keep writing!
