Re: More ring 'baloney' aka bologna

Hi Jim - boy, I'm sitting here drooling, not able to get my hands on ring bologna here in Mass. You're right, it does kinda border on junk food, but it's delicious.

My mom did something else with it - she would fry it until pretty brown on both sides, then slice up an onion, and pour a small can of chunked up tomatoes in on top and let it simmer for awhile, then served it with plain boiled, parslied potatoes and fresh string beans out of the garden - wow.

Glad to be reading your posts again - you have a wonderful way with words and phrases!
