Re: More ring 'baloney' - aren't regional differences great?

Misc.

You know, I think this is part of what makes America so great! The regional differences in food!

Growing up in the midwest, I've had my share of some really good ring bologna. It never occurred to me that it might not be available elsewhere! I feel that is part of the fun. It makes a food item more of a treat when you can find it.

Living in Minnesota, for example, I have a near impossible time trying to find grits! I LOVE grits, but all I can find are the Quaker Instant variety. Nothing stone ground up here!

Anyhow, it is kind of fun when you think how diverse the USA is in terms of food. We have some true diversity in the cuisines of our nation! Isn't that wonderful?
