Hi Brooke,
What state do you live in? Will it be snow weather when you move out? You could buy some good black soil about a week before you move out and buy some pieces of sod to put on top of the places that need it. Make it look as good as it did when you moved in. If your landlady sees it before you get a chance to fix it, tell her how you plan to fix it, and when.

Then don't let the dog out without someone being with him for that week!!! :-)
