Hey Janie,

Got my starter started this evening. Question: When I take a cup of starter out to make the bread I use 1 cup of the left over starter to put back in the refrigerator, do I feed that 1 cup of starter first. I think I need a college education for this!

My husband and I went to the International Market today. We searched and searched for the Kewpie mayonnaise and couldn't find it. So my husband asked an Japanese clerk if she knew if they had it. She led him right to it. It was $4.99 a little more than what your accumtome to paying. It is really good though. It makes it seem even more so because we are used to using the Hellman's Low Fat mayonnaise. I was a tad disappointed though because it has msg in the ingredients, but you overlook that because of the flavor.

Another question about the bread is that you let it rise 8 hours the first time and 8 hours the second time. When are we making this bread? When do you usually start so that we are not baking this bread late at night? You see I am definitely new at this!! I'm so anxious for this to work! I'm sure I'll talk to you again soon....I kind of stay confused and I don't even have blonde roots! (That's bad I know!)
