Hi Shirl,

25 years?! That is great! Did you start it on your own?

When you say that you only put 1 cup back in the fridge, do you throw away the starter that you didn't use?

The recipe I have doesn't say anything about room temperature, but it does mention that since the ph acidity is high it won't spoil. I am going to bake with it today I hope it turns out!

I think I will post the article I have since I thought it was pretty interesting.
