re: Starbucks Mallorca Sweet Bread

Misc.

Starbucks seems to always discontinue the winners....everything now is very commercial and sweet. Sad that they spent so much money on that bakery in San Francisco. I had a Mallorca Sweet Bread every day....L-o-v-e-d them! I am in CT. However, I spend the winter in CA and they never had them in my area....so...I used to order about 4 dozen, freeze them and take them in my carry on. I see several recipes and consider myself a good baker, but I really don't do much with yeast. What a disappointment this loss was!
