Re: Sugar Coated Popcorn

MICROWAVE POPCORN
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick oleo or butter
1/4 to 1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3 -4 qts popped corn
Combine all ingredients except baking soda and popcorn in a 2 qt dish. Bring to a boil and boil 2 1/2 minutes. Then cook for 2 minutes on full power. Remove from microwave and add soda. Put popcorn in a brown grocery bag. Pour syrup mixture over corn. Close bag anfd shake. Cook in bag on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake and cook another 1 1/2 minutes. Pour into a bowl and allow to cool. YMMMM!
