Re: terra cotta pot baking

Margaret, I have two bread clay pans. I followed the instructions that came with the pans. I presoaked the clay pans for 30 minutes. Put the bread dough in for the final rise, then place pans in a cold oven and bake for 45 minutes at 450 degrees.I can't get over how the bread rises way above the edge of the pan. I am very happy with them.
