Re: Thanx all!!still need yr.sugg --NEW PANS

Misc.

Cali - I like to use Farberware pans. They look nice, they cook evenly. Burnt on food washes right out if you soak it for a while in soapy water.... so you don't have to be extra careful of teflon coatings. Depending on how badly the food burns, you might not have to soak it at all.

I have another set of pots - a gift from one of my daughters - there was no indication of the name, just "Hong Kong" where the handle attaches. It is very similar to the Farberware, but the bottom (outside) is grooved. It cooks just as well. The lids are glass (nice to see how the cooking progresses without having to remove the lids); the handles on the pots and knobs on the lids are black. This also has no teflon, but is easy-to-clean even with burnt foods.
