Recipe: Pepperoni Chicken

PEPPERONI CHICKEN

1 1/2 lb chicken breasts; boneless, cut into strips
flour
2 tsp margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (45 oz) jar tomato sauce
1/4 to 1/2 stick pepperoni, thinly sliced (to taste)
hot cooked noodles or rice (to serve)

Put flour and chicken in plastic or paper bag and shake to coat chicken, remove chicken.

Melt margarine in skillet and add onion and chicken. Saute until golden brown.

Add tomato sauce and pepperoni slices to skillet. Bring ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for one hour.

Serve over hot cooked noodles or rice.
