re: type of oil to use in cakes

When baking cakes, you can use pretty much any type of oil that isn't strong tasting or flavored. Vegetable oil, corn oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, etc. are all fine. I also use light olive oil in cakes and with cake mixes with good results but some may say they taste the olive oil.
