Recipe(tried): Tyoe of Oil to Use in Cake - Helpful Information

Misc.
LINDA:
Good morning. Betsy is correct in her assessment on veg. oils. I use corn oil because there is no flavor to it . It is very bland. I can taste the flavor when in the past I used Canola oil. I would use partial olive oil blended with corn oil only if I would be heavy in a orange cake. Safflower is also bland.
Anyway I thought you would like to know all this & I hope it helps you to make a decision. I am certain your cake will be a big success. Have a nice day young lady.
