request: peanut butter roll candy

Every Christmas my mother made peanut butter roll candy WITHOUT using a potato.
I have lost the recipe and would really appreciate finding one before the
Holidays. It was sort of like making divinity and then rolling it out like
biscuit dough and spreading it with peanut butter, rolling it up and then slicing it into thin slices.
