Roofers

Misc.
Hi Gina, We live in Central Ohio in farm country and have a large number of Amish who live nearby. A couple of years ago we had the Amish put a new roof on our home here. It was a hot day and in the afternoon I took out some cold lemonade and some home baked chocolate chip cookies. Before they left one of the men asked me for the recipe for the cookies. The Amish in this area drive horse and buggy and have no electricity so they cook on wood stoves. I wondered how the cookies would turn out for his wife. One day we were visiting there and they offered us some fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and they were perfect--just like the ones I had made in my electric oven.
