salt pork

Misc.

Jim:

I use it to flavor beans. I don't know if it is unusual to use it with anything else or not. It seems like it was more popular many years ago. I know that I sometimes have trouble finding it when I need it. I have also noticed that people I talk to don't know what it is or what you would do with it.
