Silk Rose Angel

1 silk rose
1 wooden bead, with hole in it
mini curly doll hair
1 golden fake wedding ring ( available Hobby Lobby, wedding section)
1 pipe cleaner/chenille stem
1 small wooden star
gold metallic paint
Paint star with gold paint. Set aside. Cut the stem off from rose, leaving 1/4-1/2 inch remaining. Now glue the wooden bead on the remainder of stem. Glue curly hair to top of wooden bead. Glue golden ring on top of hair. Take 2 silk leaves and glue to back of silk flower for angel wings, or purchase angel wings to use. Wrap a section of pipe cleaner/chenille stem around the silk flower leaving open in front. These are the angels arms. Glue painted star to open ends of chenille stem in front, so it looks like she is holding the star. Or you can use a small ribbon rose instead of the wooden star. You can draw a face on if you desire it. I usually do closed eye look with lashes underneath and half circle mouth. I took this to an ornament exchange and everybody wanted it.
