"Sponge' - spice cake with

Misc.

Have you tried any of the sourdough sources on the web? Or checked some of the Amish or Friendship cake ideas -- may are on TKL if you do a search. I don't know if any are for spice cake or not .... but I know there are in many of the sourdough cookbooks, etc.

You can try http://www.contrylife.net/bread --- it is a good source of info re sponge, sourdough, etc. ..... there are 2 segmentsin that site on sourdough; also there is a 'recipe bin' - and if you scroll thru you might find what you're looking for. Or there is a 'question' section and also the 'bread makers forum' - where questions are also asked and answered.

I have a lot of books with sourdough, sponge, etc. info .... but not knowing what type of spice cake, etc ..... it would be a lot of typing ....the sponge, the recipe, etc. So if you can find it this way .... much easie.

Good luck. I love using my sourdough, sponge, biga, etc. Yummy.
