sugared bacon & brie

Misc.

what aobut the sugared bacon and baked brie?
I can't remember exactly how the baked brie went it is doen there somwhrere but the sugared bacon is easy and may be good as a "cold" dish too ... try it this weekend and chill before eating to make sure...

loosely tie each strip of bacon in a knot (I used thick form sam's club)
press each bacon knott in brown sugar to coat it

broil uner boiler till done does not atke long as the sugar aids in cooking -- don't put too colse to heat.

I think it would be just as good served cold.

i would also try the baked brie this way -- place in cassarole dish and top with an interesting marmelade or jam bake till gooy give a stir to swirl and refrig agin serve with fresh bagels from bagel shop or french bread ... i can't see how that would not be good :) I get brie from sams as well or costco. I have not done brie quite this way but would not hesitate.
