Texas Enchilada Gravy

Title: TEXAS ENCHILADA GRAVY

2 tb Lard (or shortening)
2 tb Flour
2 tb Chili powder
3 c ;Water, warm
Salt; to taste

Melt lard in a skillet, stir in the flour and make a
light roux. Add the chili powder, water and salt;
cook until thick.
