Recipe: Quick Vinegar Slaw (using Italian Dressing and cider vinegar)

QUICK VINEGAR SLAW

1 (1 pound) bag shredded cole slaw mix
Italian dressing, as needed (bottled or homemade)*
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
Sugar, salt and pepper (to taste)

Toss cabbage with Italian dressing and cider vinegar. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Let flavors marry for up to 1 hour at room temperature or cover and refrigerate overnight.

VARIATION:
Quick Vinegar Slaw using oil and vinegar

Makes 8 servings
