Recipe: Jimmy Carter Cheese Ring

Carolyn, Here's another for you to work with...

Carter(Jimmy)Cheese Ring

1 pound grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped peanuts
1 cup mayonnaise
1 small onion, grated
Black pepper to taste
Dash of cayenne

Beat all ingredients together, mold all ingredients with hands into ring or desired shape.

Place in refrigerator and chill. When ready to serve, fill center of ring with strawberry preserves. Also good as a cheese spread without preserves.
