Recipe(tried): Restaurant Beans

Side Dishes - Beans
RESTAURANT BEANS

2 cans (1 pound each) Van Camps Pork and Beans or Campbells Pork and Beans
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 strips bacon

Mix all together, except bacon. Criscross bacon on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes to an hour.

Servings: 6

Spring is almost here. I am already thinking of cooking outdoors. Sending a recipe, I have baked for many cookouts. Found the recipe in a cookbook from the library, Secret Restaurant Recipes Cookbook. Enjoy!
