Recipe(tried): 24 Hour Vegetable Salad (layered salad)

24 Hour Vegetable Salad

Any time I am invited to a party and take a covered dish - this is the one requested!!!

1 head iceberg lettuce
1 pkg frozen peas
6 hard boiled eggs - sliced
1 lb bacon - fried crisp and crumbled
1/2 lb swiss cheese shreaded
mayonnaise
salt pepper and sugar to taste

in a bowl - tear lettuce to bite size and place 1/2 head on bottom. sprinkle that with salt, pepper and several tablespoons of sugar. next layer peas and place sliced eggs over - standing some on up around edge. add the remaining lettuce add bacon, cheese and then add mayo on topsealing all the way around the edges. let set in the refirg for several hours. when ready to
serve mix very well. ENJOY
