Recipe(tried): $300 Wedding Reception - Ideas
Holidays, CelebrationsHey Crystal,
My neice is getting married this weekend. I got some great ideas from here.
The night before the wedding we are fixing different types of pasta and breads.
For the wedding reception we are having:
home made chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce.
Home made sour dough rolls with ham
chicken salad finger sandwiches
lil smokies
party pin wheels
strawberry perserve meat balls
coconut shrimp with a fruit dipping sauce
sausage balls
spinach balls
sourekraut balls
potato chips and dip
potato salad in a big punch bowl
veggy tray
fresh fruit tray
( I got one of the choc. fountains to have on the table for the guest to dip their own fruit)
cookie tray
cake
peanuts
mints
I bought a party tree that holds cupcakes and etc. I'm putting the different type of sausage ball, and etc on it. to make it look nicer.
As far as table clothes I went to the dollar store and bought twin flat sheets. Make great table clothes. I got lil rose clips to keep them on the table good and make them look nice.
She is having about 100 people so i'm making several different things so everybody will have something they like.
Also you can take the purple grapes and grape jello and shake them around and then chill.
Also you can go to sams club they have a lot of stuff you might use....Lisa Tennessee
