90 MINUTE BREAD
2 packages yeast
2 cups warm (110-155 degrees f) water, divided use
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 to 4 1/2 cups flour
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water; let stand for 10-15 minutes. Set aside.
In large bowl, combine the remaining 1 1/2 cups warm water, oil, sugar, salt and enough flour to make a sticky dough. mix well. Add yeast and let stand for 15 minutes.
Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead until firm and elastic. Shape into 2 loaves. Put in greased loaf pans, and let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven for 30 minutes.
