Recipe(tried): A Cranberry Mustard

I used this (yours) Cranberry Mustard recipe as a glaze for our Christmas Ham. I did alter it somewhat - as I ground the cranberries instead of leaving them whole - and it was fabulous!!! Cranberry-Mustard Glazed Ham

Cranberry-Mustard

12 oz fresh cranberries, washed & ground
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
2 tsp orange zest, grated (or grind w/berries)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 Place the cranberries, sugar, water, orange juice, and orange zest in a small sauce pot. Bring to a simmer and cook over medium low heat until the cranberries pop and the mixture thickens, about 15 minutes.

2 Remove from the heat. Stir in the mustard and the butter.

3 Place any size smoked ham in pan and place fresh orange juice in bottom of pan instead of water. Squeeze 1 navel orange over ham and bake according to ham producer's directions. Baste occasionally. Apply glaze 45 minutes before ham is to be done, using brush. Plan to use about half the mustard for a 7-9 lb ham; save the rest for leftovers. Voila!
