Hi BG,

Oh yes, absolutely, use those delicious sour oranges. Those are the ones my Mom favors for marinating pork and chicken. We use a combination of orange juice and lemon juice when we don't have those lovely sour oranges.

Neighbors around here are so happy when we offer to take them off their hands, you see, many people don't know what to do with them. My Mom, bless her heart, makes a delicious sour orange shells dessert to die for and we use the juice to marinate also.

Use a combination of citrus fruits as well to marinate. It only makes the food tastier!
