"Just a hint of almond flavor gives this bread a wonderful, sweet taste. Make this with or without the sliced almonds. The almond paste may affect the consistency. Watch the dough and add 1-2 tbs. milk
if necessary. If desired, during the final rising, sprinkle top with slivered almonds of a decorative finish to the bread."

7/8 cup milk
1 1/2/tbsp. butter
1/4 cup almond paste
1 tsp. salt
3 cups bread flour
2 tsp. yeast
1/2 cup (optional) sliced almonds
