ALPHABET SOUP MEATLOAF

Makes 6 servings

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can Alphabet Vegetable Soup
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/8 teaspoon rosemary
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped onion

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, mix lightly together the ground beef with the Alphabet Soup, oatmeal, egg, chopped onion, salt, rosemary, thyme and pepper. When thoroughly mixed, place the beef meat mixture into a 8 inch by 4 inch loaf pan.

Place filled loaf pan in oven and bake for 1 hour, or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear. Let the cooked meatloaf stand for 5 minutes before serving.


EASY ALPHABET MEATLOAF

1 Can Campbell's Vegetable Soup
1 package ground chicken or turkey
1 tsp. dried sage
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 onion, chopped
salt & pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix thoroughly. Put into a loaf pan, and smooth top. Cover with foil, and bake for about 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
