Amazing Crab Stuffed Pasta Shells

8 ounces cream cheese
1 (8.00 ounces) package baby shrimp
2 cans crabmeat or 1 (8.00 ounces) package imitation crabmeat (chopped)
2 scallions (minced)
1/2 package pasta shells (large)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt & pepper

Beat together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, cayenne, salt, and pepper until smooth using hand mixer or food processor. Fold in the crab meat, shrimp, and scallions until evenly combined. Stuff the shells with the mixture and place on a serving dish. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least an hour and up to 12 hours before serving. Can cut the shells in half prior to serving as these are very filling.

Tacos in Pasta Shells

1 (12-oz.) package Jumbo Pasta Shells, 18 to a package
2 1/2 pounds Ground Beef or mixture of Ground Beef and Ground Pork
2 (3-oz.) packages Cream Cheese, cubed
2 tablespoons Chili Powder
Salt to Taste
1 large Onion, diced small

***Sauce:***
2 1/2 cups Tomato Sauce
1 cup canned, chopped Green Chilies
1 package Taco Seasoning Mix
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 cups shredded Pepper-Jack Cheese

Cook pasta, when done transfer shells to ice water with slotted spoon. Brown meat and onion until theres no more pink showing in meat, stirring to crumble, drain well. After meat is drained, place back in skillet, add cubed creamed cream, chili powder and Salt. Simmer 5 minutes stirring. Let cool until you can handle filling. Fill shells with filling using your fingers. Place meat side up in a 13x9x2" baking dish you have sprayed with non-stick spray. In small saucepan, cook together sauce ingredients on simmer for 10 minutes. Pour over shells. Cover with foil. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30 minutes, remove foil and sprinkle the cheese on top of shells, return to oven for 10 minutes uncovered.

STUFFED JUMBO PASTA SHELLS
Sauce and meat as with spaghetti

CHEESE FILLING:
2 lbs. ricotta or cottage cheese
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
2 eggs
1/2 c. Parmesan, grated
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. parsley

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare pasta shells. Bring water to boil and then add pasta, boil pasta approximately 15 minutes. Prepare cheese filling. Beat eggs; add ricotta, Mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese; mix in seasonings. Using a large casserole dish, layer sauce, meat, and pasta shells which are stuffed with the cheese filling. Bake 45 minutes.

Turkey Stuffed Pasta Shells
A flavorful meat-based, Italian inspired stuffed shell entr e.

Pasta Ingredients:
12 to 16 uncooked dried jumbo pasta shells

Filling Ingredients:
1 tablespoon LAND O LAKES Butter
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1/2 pound ground mild Italian sausage
1/2 pound ground turkey
1/8 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
8 ounces (2 cups) LAND O LAKES Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce with mushrooms

Cook shells according to package directions. Drain; set aside. Meanwhile, melt butter in 10-inch skillet until sizzling; add onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat until tender (3 to 4 minutes). Add turkey and sausage. Continue cooking until meat is browned (8 to 12 minutes); drain. Add basil, oregano and 1 cup cheese.
Spread 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce on bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking dish. Stuff cooked shells with meat mixture; place, meat-side down, in prepared pan. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over shells; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Cover with waxed paper; microwave on MEDIUM HIGH (80% power) 5 minutes. Turn dish. Microwave on MEDIUM HIGH until heated through and cheese is melted (5 to 6 minutes). Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
Makes 6 servings.

Oven Directions: Heat oven to 350 F. Prepare as directed above. Reserve remaining 1 cup cheese. Cover pasta with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Remove aluminum foil; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Continue baking, uncovered, until cheese is melted (4 to 6 minutes).

TIP: Reduce oven temperature to 325 F if using 13x9-inch glass baking dish. Baking time may need to be increased.

MAKE AHEAD DIRECTIONS:

Pasta shells can be filled and frozen separately. Prepare pasta shells as directed above. Place filled shells onto ungreased baking sheet; cover and freeze. When frozen, place shells into resealable plastic freezer bag; seal bag. Place bag in freezer. To bake shells, heat oven to 350 F. Continue assembling casserole with frozen shells, sauce and cheese as directed in oven directions. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until heated through.

MAKE AHEAD DIRECTIONS:

Prepare recipe as directed above. Place filled shells into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Cover; freeze. To bake, heat oven to 350 F. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until casserole is heated through.
