Recipe(tried): Apple Pie (double-crust with cinnamon crumble filling)

APPLE PIE

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 sticks (1 cup) real butter
6 apples, peeled and sliced
2 deep dish pie crusts

Mix flour, brown sugar and cinnamon together. Add butter and mix with an electric mixer on low speed until crumbly.

Put apple slices in crumb mixture. Use your hands to mix until covered with crumbs.

Spread apples in the pie crust. Add the crumb mixture. Cover with top crust, pinch the edges and poke the top with a fork. You don't want it to explode.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 45 or 50 minutes or until done.
