Recipe(tried): Baking at High Altitudes - re: Why are my cookies flat?

Misc.
Hi Mary, You live at a high altitude and just like cakes, cookies often need more flour at that altitude. I am a 6000 ft. and so I always test bake 2 or 3 cookies to see if there is enough flour in them. If they go flat, I add about 1/4 cup flour to a 3 dozen cookie batch and try again. Hope this helps. Susan
