Recipe: Buttermilk Pancakes from My Great Recipe Cards
Breakfast and BrunchFAVORITE BUTTERMILK PANCAKES
FOR 20 PANCAKES YOU WILL NEED:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 TBSP sugar
3 eggs
2 cups of buttermilk
1/2 cup of butter or margarine melted
In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
In another bowl, beat eggs about 1 minute on high speed until very light and fluffy.
Pour eggs over flour mixture. Pour in buttermilk. Add butter. Fold together entire mixture until flour is just moistened.
Bake pancakes on greased, hot griddle using 1/4 cup of the mixture.
I am glad I could find this for you! If you happen to have the Chocolate Sheet Cake from My Great Recipes I would love to have it, I lost my card!
