Recipe(tried): Cactus Handling
Misc.Try putting thick layers of newspaper around cactus when you have to pick them up and move them. Just fence the ones planted in the ground off with the paper. Use folded newspaper to lift for replanting. Also they can be manipulated using long meat tongs and chopsticks.
