Recipe(tried): Candied Sweet Potatoes

Hi, Darlene
I know you have some delicious recipes for sweet potatoes, but I couldn't resist giving you my favorite. It's one my sister gave me some 30yrs. ago. You might like it.

6 cooked peeled potatoes (I have used both sweet or yams) Set aside.
Boil following ingredients together for approx. 5 min.

1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 whole cloves

Using glass oven dish (I use glass, but anything will do) mine is approx.
13x9. Slice potatoes to desired thickness and after placing in oven dish, pour your boiled mixture over all and bake for approx. 45min.
I hope you like them. I usually double or triple recipe.
