Recipe(tried): Cashew Crunch

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
I am from WI and my Grandma gave me a recipe book for Christmas many years ago from the Amish around Viroqua area. The recipe in my book works well but since I am not Amish I always use a candy thermometer and cook it until 300 degees.

CASHEW CRUNCH

1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups cashews

Cook until 300 degrees F over high heat, stir slowly.

Pour on lightly greased cookie sheet.
