ISO: Cashew Crunch

Could you be more specific on how long to cook the mixture. What tempature is golden brown? Do you take it to the brittle temp of 308 degrees. I have tried a receipe very similar to this, which my father used to make, and the bloody thing separates on me ever time. I would very much like to try this one.
