Recipe: Cinnamon S's from My Great Recipes for Linda

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
Dear Linda,
Here is the recipe that you requested.

CINNAMON S'S
Source: My Great Recipes

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until lightly. Stir in flour and baking powder to make a pliable cookie dough. Chill for 30 minutes if necessary or shape immediately.

To shape, divide dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion out to make a rope 24 inches long. Divide into 2 inch strips.

Roll strips in a mixture of the 2 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 tablespoon sugar. Twist into an "s" shape and place on cookie sheet. Repeat for all of the strands of dough.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies feel firm but are not browned.
