Recipe: Cereal Granola Bars

Cereal Granola Bars
Source: Oregonian FoodDay
Makes 35 bars

3/4 cup firm packed brown sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 cup honey and nut oat cereal
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds
2 tbsp sesame seeds

In a saucepan, combine brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla; blend well. Add cereal, raisins, coconut, sunflower and sesame seeds; mix well. Press into ungreased 13-by-9-inch pan. Cool. Cut into bars.
