Recipe: Cheese ball ideas

Title: Sherry-Cheese Log

Yield: 10 to 12 serv

8 oz Package Neufchatel cheese
1 1/2 c Swiss cheese; shredded
1 T Parsley; snipped
2 T Cream sherry
1/3 c Almonds; toasted and chopped
Parsley; snipped
Sesame seeds; toasted
Red grapes (optional)

Let cheese stand at room temperature about 1 hour. In a small mixer
bowl, beat cheeses and 1 tablespoon parsley till well blended.
Gradually add sherry, beating till nearly smooth. Stir in almonds.
Cover; chill 1 hour. With hands, mold mixture into log shape, about
10 inches long. Press additional snipped parsley and sesame seed
into cheese log, forming decorative rows of each. Wrap the log in
moisture-vaporproof wrap. Chill. Or, label and freeze, if desired.
If cheese log is frozen, let thaw 1-1/2 to 2 hours at room
temperature. Unwrap. Serve cheese log on platter with assorted
crackers; garnish with red grapes, if desired. Serves 10 to 12.

To serve 25: Prepare Sherry-Cheese Log as directed except double
all ingredients and prepare two logs.

Cheese Ball


Introduction
This is a very easy recipe and great to have
on hand for surprise company. This makes
two cheese balls. It makes wonderful gifts
with crackers and wine in a picnic basket for
a shower or wedding gift or at Christmas
time.

Ingredients

1 Jar of Kraft Blue Roka
1 8 oz. package of Cream Cheese-Philly Brand
1 8 oz. container sharp cheddar cheese(Wis Pride Brand, it's a yellow & orange container)
3 to 4
dashes of Worcestershire Sauce

Directions
1. Let cheese soften to room temperature for about 30 minuets.

2. Put all cheeses together in a plastic bowl with dashes of
worcestershire sauce and mix together until smooth & a soft
orange color.

3. Mold into two balls-cover-place in fridg. for about 1 1/2 hours or until firm.

4. Once chilled and firm, roll balls in finely chopped nuts.

5. Wrap really well in plastic wrap, then tin foil.

6. Cheese balls usually last for three months and can be put in fridg or freezer. Enjoy!!

Serving Suggestions
Serve with Pepperridge Farm Quartet Crackers.
