Recipe(tried): Chicken Breasts with Almonds and Bacon

This is so quick and easy but will look as though you have spent hours in the kitchen!

CHICKEN BREASTS WITH ALMONDS AND BACON
Serves 6

2 cups flour
salt and pepper
6 chicken breasts (skin off)
olive oil
6 slices middle rasher bacon
slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius (350F).

Put flour into a plastic freezer bag and season with the salt and pepper.

Cut the chicken breasts in half through the centre of the breast, long ways. Place the chicken into the plastic bag and shake until coated with flour (best to do this 2 or 3 bits at a time).

Place coated chicken onto a lightly greased baking tray and paint the tops of the chicken with olive oil.

Cut the bacon up into small piececs and sprinkle over the chicken pieces. Do the same with the almonds.

Bake in oven for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and bacon is crispy.

Serve with either a Salad or seasonal vegetables.
